GEMS are able to offer a wide range of marine, commercial and domestic services. Located in the South West UK

Our experienced engineers provide servicing, maintenance and repairs for all types of generators and engines to commercial and domestic customers, either onsite or from our Teignmouth workshop. GEMS offer full and partial servicing, general maintenance, repairs and fault finding, replacement alternators, custom build controls, Start-O-Matic conversions and generator & AVR installation plus lots more. 

Typical Electrical works we undertake involve the use of Solar or Battery Storage combined with Diesel Generators to get the most of your equipment with less focus on generator power.   

We specialise in quality repair and maintenance work to keep your equipment operating for longer but if you find the time has come for a replacement, we can also help. Ranging from supply of new equipment and parts, we also offer used and refurbished items, as well as custom installation.

For marine works, we are situated near Teignmouth Port, we are in a prime location to help any vessel with repairs and maintenance. All works for inboard diesel engines including servicing, repairs, overhauls and winterisation are undertaken by our specialist marine engineer. We can also offer new transmissions, welding and bespoke fabrication, marine electrical repairs, fuel line cleaning & diesel bug treatment. We are also able to carry out under the waterline repairs, utilising the quay and working when the tide is low to carry out welding and hull repairs, propeller removal and rudder maintenance. 

We are happy to provide Technical Assistance over the phone to new and existing customers alike (fees apply for new customers - see Technical helpline in Shop). Our small team of engineers can react quickly; diagnosing issues and suggesting fixes. If in-person repairs are required, our experienced engineers can advise, provide quotations, give assistance on site or repairs at our workshop with quick turnaround times.

We also offer an out of hours emergency call out service (additional charges apply)
